S. Denise Johnson Foundation raises awareness and hosts fundraising events to work towards resolving issues in marginalized and underrepresented communities stemming from:
- educational oversight and exclusion of canonical readings that provide cultural enrichment to student education,
- medical research development gaps in understanding how African American women are disproportionately suffering from uterine fibroid complications, and
- wealth gaps due to land development and historic site preservation disparities in Black communities.
